Edicioni i 21-të i Festivalit ReMusica “THE SOUND OF CHANGE” trajton temën e ndryshimeve klimatike dhe bën thirrje për ndërgjegjësim tek publiku për veprim klimatik. E gjithë kjo, është reflektuar në programin e sivjemë, duke u kujdesur që përmbajtja e tij të orientohet në këtë temë, me fokus në katër elementet e natyrës – Toka, Uji, Ajri dhe Zjarri.
Festivali ReMusicas do të hapet me kuartetin e sakosfonëve nga Holanda Syrène Saxophone Quartet të cilët i karakterizon energjia e tyre dhe komunikimi i tyre delikat duke i bërë ato shumë të dashura për publikun. Në koncerti i tyre të titulluar WATER WORKS shtjellohet tema e ujit përmes veprave të kompozitorit George Frideric Handel dhe veprës The Wave nga Jacob Ter Veldhuis. Vepra dedikuar ndryshimeve klimatike “seacoloured lightbellsounds” nga kompozitori i ri austriak Philipp Manuel Gutmannm do të jetësohet në skenën e ReMusias nga kuarteti harkor nga Austria Selini String Quartet.
Këtë vit në ReMusica mirëpret yllin e muzikës klasike, kitaristin Petrit Çekun i cili vjen në bashkëpunimin me kuartetin harkor nga Maqedonia Veriore “Viva String Quartet” ku ndër tjera, do të luajnë veprën premierë të kompozitorit nga Kosova Valton Beqiri e titulluar “XX”, vepër e realizuar në vitin 2021, dedikuar 20 vjetorit të Festivalit ReMusica.
“Karkalecat e ëndërrave” instalacioni tingullor nga artisti Félix Blume, bashkon artin dhe shkencën për të reflektuar mbi pasojat e ndryshimeve klimatike në shoqëri. Punëtoria “ReChange AIR & WATER” me tutor Ilir Bajri do t’sjellë në jetë (dritë) incizime dhe vepra të reja nga pjesëmarrësit e punëtorisë pesë ditore mbi temën AJRI & UJI, përderisa koncerti tradicional elektroakustik dhe akusmatik këtë vit sjellë një nga emrat më të rëndësishëm të skenës belgo -amerikane Elizabeth Anderson, me koncertin e titulluar “TOKA & AJRI” . Duke ndarë dhimbjen me situatën me situatën në Ukrainë, ReMusica këtë vit, solidarizohet me Festivalet Europiane duke iu bashkuar iniciativës “Festivals for Compassion”. Vepra e kompozitorit ukrainas Maxim Shalygin e quajtur “Drop after drop” e shkruar në këto muajt e fundi do të jetë pjesë e këtij Edicioni në natën përmbyllëse të ReMusicas dhe do t’a sjellë në skenë Kuarteti harkor “Viva String Quartet”.
ReMusica sërish është kujdesur që në cdo natë të Festivalit të inicoj bashkëpunimin në mes të artistëve tanë dhe atyre ndërkombëtar. Artistët sikurse sopranoja e shquar kosovare Zana Abazi Ramadani, pianistja Artemida Qarri Haxhiaj, violinistja Abigeila Voshtina, baritoni Shaban Behramaj etj do t’zënë vend të rëndësishëm në skenën e ReMusicas këtë vit. Hapësirë të veçantë i është dhënë artistëve të rinj të talentuar si Lorik Pylla, Orkestrës e të rinjëve të Kosovës me dirigjent Kushtrim Gashi, Rron Bakalli, etj dhe gjithashtu traditës drejt promovimit të kompozitorëve të rinj nga Kosova. Masterklaset, punëtoritë, ReMusica Junior do t’jenë segmentet të cilat do t’vazhdojnë sikundër vitet e kaluara.
Këtë vit, ReMusica organizon konferencën me temë Kultura dhe veprimi klimatik ku me përfaqësuesit e institucioneve kulturore, qeveritare, të shoqërisë civile si dhe të organizatave ndërkombëtare do të diskutohet lidhur me atë se si Festivalet dhe komuniteti artistik kosovar, mund të punojnë që të rrisin qëndrueshmërinë si dhe të ulin gjurmën e vet të karbonit.
Për fund, të rikujtojmë fjaltët e Sekretarit të Përgjithshëm të OKB-së Ban Ki-moon “Ndryshimi klimatik është çështja përcaktuese e kohës sonë. Nuk është një kërcënim i largët. Ai po afrohet çdo ditë e më shumë, shumë më shpejt nga sa mund të mendojmë. Të gjithë ne kemi një rol në këtë luftë dhe të gjithë ne mund të bëjmë një ndryshim. Çdo veprim ka rëndësi, i madh dhe i vogël ”
The 21st edition of the ReMusica Festival “THE SOUND OF CHANGE” addresses the topic of climate change and calls for raising awareness on climate action. All this is reflected in this year’s program, making sure that a number of pieces on this topic are reflected, focusing on the four elements of nature – Earth, Water, Air and Fire.
The 21st edition of ReMusicas will open with the Syrène Saxophone Quartet from the Netherlands, characterized by their energy and delicate communication, making them very appealing to the public. Their concert entitled WATER WORKS, the theme of water is elaborated through the works of composer George Frideric Handel, as well as the piece The Wave by Jacob Ter Veldhuis. The work dedicated to climate change “seacoloured lightbellsounds” by the young Austrian composer Philipp Manuel Gutmannm will be brought to life on the stage of ReMusia by the Austrian Selini String Quartet.
This year in ReMusica welcomes the star of classical music, guitarist Petrit Çeku who playing in collaboration with the North Macedonian string quartet “Viva String Quartet” where, among others, they will execute the premiere work of the composer from Kosovo Valton Beqiri entitled “XX”, work realized in 2021, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ReMusica Festival.
“Dream’s Cricket” sound installation by artist Felix Blume, combines art and science to reflect on the consequences of climate change in society. The workshop “ReChange AIR & WATER” with tutor Ilir Bajri will bring to life (light) new recordings and works by the participants of the five-day workshop on AIR & WATER, while the traditional electro-acoustic and acoustic concert this year brings one of the most important names of the Belgian-American scene Elizabeth Anderson, with the concert entitled “EARTH & AIR”. Sharing the pain with the situation in Ukraine, ReMusica, in solidarity with other European Festivals, joins the “Festivals for Compassion” initiative. The work of Ukrainian composer Maxim Shalygin called “Drop after drop”, written in recent months, will be part of this Edition on the closing night of ReMusica and executed on stage by the Viva String Quartet.
ReMusica again makes sure that every night of the Festival presents a cooperation between local and international artists. Artists, such as the prominent Kosovar soprano Zana Abazi Ramadani, pianist Artemida Qarri Haxhiaj, violinist Abigeila Voshtina, baritone Shaban Behramaj, etc. will be an important and integral part of ReMusica’s stage this year. Special space has been given to talented young artists such as Lorik Pylla, the Kosovo Youth Orchestra led by Kushtrim Gashi, Rron Bakalli, etc, as well as the traditional promotion of young composers from Kosovo. Masterclasses, workshops, ReMusica Junior will be the segments that will continue as in previous years.
This year, ReMusica will organize a discussion on Culture and Climate Action where representatives of cultural institutions, government, civil society and international organizations will discuss how Festivals and the Kosovar artistic community can work to increase sustainability, as well as reduce its carbon footprint.
At the end, let us recall the words of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon: “Climate change is the defining issue of our time. It is not a distant threat. It is coming and approaching much, much faster than we may think. We all have a role to play in this fight and we can all make a difference. Every action matters, big and small.”
