During the Arts Festival Summit in Edinburgh, the General Assembly of EFA officially approved our membership, recognizing us as a new member starting today! 
We are deeply proud to officially join the European Festivals Association, a family of festivals that share our belief in the power of culture to unite, transform, and inspire. We look forward to contributing our experience, energy, and ideas to EFA’s vibrant festival community.

ReMusica Festival is Kosovo’s premier platform for contemporary and classical music, founded in 2002 by encouragement of Vanessa Redgrave and Philip Glass. The Festival was spearheaded by Rafet Rudi’s visioni, and from its earliest days, ReMusica has stood as a cultural pillar, not only artistically but also as a symbol of Kosovo’s creative resilience and ambition.
ReMusica began with a powerful goal: to enrich the cultural life of Kosovo through high-caliber musical programming. Now in its 24th year, it has grown into one of the most recognized festivals in the region and beyond, with its primary objective is to promote contemporary music and innovative performances, including pieces of 20th-century, classical, early music, and acousmatic music concerts, featuring world-class and local artists. The festival has a comprehensive archive of Albanian composers’ works with more than 500 premieres, new pieces commissioned. It holds the largest collection of local composers’ audio recordings from the past twenty years.
But ReMusica is more than just a festival. It’s a catalyst for education, with annual masterclasses and mentorship, and dedicated youth, children programs. It’s also a hub for public diplomacy, actively fostering cultural exchange and dialogue by collaborating with European festivals and institutions.

Festivali ReMusica është festival ndërkombëtar i muzikës dhe një nga ngjarjet kyçe kulturore në Kosovë, me fokus si në muzikë ashtu edhe në edukim. Objektivi i tij kryesor është promovimi i muzikës bashkëkohore, duke përfshirë veprat e shekullit të 20-të, muzikës së vjetër, klasike dhe muzikën akusmatike, me artistë të klasit botëror dhe vendas. I themeluar në pranverën e vitit 2002, si aktivitet i “Qendrës për Muzikë të Re”, me mbështetjen e Vanessa Redgrave dhe Philip Glass pas luftës në Kosovë, sot festivali mban koleksionin më të madh të regjistrimeve audio të kompozitorëve vendas nga njëzet vitet e fundit.
ReMusica është më shumë se një festival. Është një katalizator për edukim, me master klase, punetori, dhe programe të përkushtuara për të rinj, fëmijë. Është gjithashtu qendër për diplomacinë publike, duke nxitur në mënyrë aktive shkëmbimin kulturor dhe dialogun duke bashkëpunuar me festivale dhe institucione evropiane.
