The Vocal Ensemble ReMusica was formed by the ReMusica Festival in Kosovo. It is known for its broad stylistic repertoire, ranging from early music, renaissance and baroque, to modern Albanian compositions and contemporary world music. Led by conductor Rafet Rudi, eight professional singers have come together to interpret and perform choral music at a high level and with finesse and feeling.
The vocal ensemble ReMusica will perform historical gems from the little-known Albanian music of the 13th and 14th centuries by composers Gjergj Danush Lapacaj, Jan Kukuzeli, as well as works from the repertoire of a new generation of composers from Kosovo and from the contemporary world repertoire.
Rafet Rudi is a composer, conductor and thinker in the field of music philosophy and journalism. He is a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and one of the most prominent and active personalities of recent decades in the Kosovo music scene. Rudi was conductor of the professional Radio&Television Choir in Prishtina from 1980 to 1987, with which he performed in all countries of former Yugoslavia. Between 2006 and 2020, he directed the Kosovo Philharmonic Choir and had hundreds of public appearances with a capella programmes both in Kosovo and in Europe. Under his direction, the Kosovo Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra perform a number of important vocal and instrumental works such as: Mozart’s Missa in D major, Monteverdi’s “Vespro della Beata Virgine 1610”, Bach’s Cantata no. 1. 28 by Bach, Mass in C major by Beethoven, Requiem by Mozart, etc.

Ansambli vokal i Kosovës ReMusica është ansambël i formuar nga Festivali ReMusica. Aikarakterizohet me repertor të gjerë stilistik, duke filluar nga muzika e vjetër shqiptare – renesansë dhe barok, me kompozitoret Gjergj Danush Llapacaj , Jan Kukuzeli (i cili njihet si reformator i notacioni të kishës lindore), repertori modern shqiptar, e deri te repertori botëror bashkëkohor. Nën udhëheqjen e dirigjentit Rafet Rudi, tetë profesionistë janë bashkuar për të shpalosur muzikën korale me një finesë dhe ndjeshmëri interpretative.
Programi i ansamblit vokal ReMusica paraqet një zhytje të madhe në thesarin historik të muzikës shqiptare (deri vonë të panjohura për histiorografinë shqiptare ) të shekullit XIII dhe XIV me kompozitoret Gjergj Danush Llapaca , Jan Kukuzeli (i cili njihet si reformator i notacioni të kishës lindore) dhe duke vazhduar deri te krjimtaria e kompozitorëve të gjeneratës së re nga Kosova dhe repertoari modern botëror.
Rafet Rudi, në jetën muzikore të Kosovës, me veprimtarinë tij si kompozitor, dirigjent, mendimtar i shprehur në fushën e publicistikës dhe filozofisë së muzikës, anëtar i Akademisë Europiane të Shkencës dhe Arteve, paraqet personalitetin më të spikatur dhe më aktiv në 2-3 dekadat e fundit.
Rudi ishte dirigjent i Korit Profesional të Radio Televizionit të Prishtinës (RTP) në periudhën 1980-1987 dhe me këtë ansambël koncertoi në të gjitha vendet e ish Jugosllavise. Ai ishte prezent në Festivalet e rëndësishme të kohës, si Festivali i Dubrovnikut, Ohrit, Beogradit, Festivali i muzikës moderne në Opati (Kroaci) etj. Në vitet 2006 – 2020, ai udhëheqë Korin e Filharmonisë të Kosovës dhe realizon qindra paraqitje publike me programe a capella në Kosovë, Angli, Maqedoni të Veriut, Kroaci, Shqipëri, Itali etj. Nën drejtimin e tij, Kori dhe Orkestra e Filharmonisë realizojnë një mori veprash të rëndësishme vokalo-instrumentale, si: Missa D-dur e Mozartit, ‘Vespro della Beata Virgine 1610’ e Monteverdit, Kantata Nr. 28 e Bahut, ‘Gloria’ e Vivaldit, Mesha C-dur e Beethovenit, Rekuiemi i Mocartit etj.
Në vitet e fundit, Rudi i pëkushtohet pikërisht zbulimit, restaurimit dhe adaptimit të literaturës korale të autorëve të vjetër shqiptarë, si Gjergj Danush Llapacaj (shek. XVI), Jan Kukuzeli (shek. XIII) dhe Niketa i Remisianës (shek. IV).
